Exclamation Sliding side windows

Hi all I am considering adding a slide side window on my GT40. Anyone done this successfully? Any photo links would be appreciated . Just wondered on wind noise etc.? Water getting in.? Thanks Bernie

Hello Bernie,

All except the SPF Daytona Coupes have sliding windows. I believe the SPF has electic windows.

Thanks for the lead on the Daytonas.



Yes I have been looking at the all types coupes to see how they run them.

I was also looking at some of the older race cars.

My biggest concern is the wind noise and water getting in.

I want to run the solid side window with a slide section. The other issue is how scratched the perspex gets?

Will keep looking to see how they run the tracks etc..
