Default Replace my Roush air filter by a more vintage looking one

I'm the brand new and happy owner of a Superformance GT40 MKII (#P2269). The first modification I made was to replace the air filter that I found too modern looking. I built an aluminium Turkey Pan and I replace the air filter by another one found at Summit... I first wanted to install the original "glass conic filter" but I never found it (at least in France !).
I think it's much better looking, especially when I will replace the valve cover.

I replaced mine as well....I changed to a 14" round, 3" tall K&N....it cost me nearly two tenths of a second in the quarter mile and almost a half-mile per gallon fuel mileage.
Looks like Roush knew what they were doing with mine!
Hope you have better luck.

I don't see a filter in the pics, but a very nice job. Not sure what the inside diameter is of your turkey pan, but it looks like a 9" round would work. You might want to look at this. Obviously, you wouldn't need the top, but the base may help with clearance.

See below the "glass conic air filter" I'm talking about (on GT40 #P1015) :
