1968 Ford GT40 Gulf/Mirage Lightweight Racing Car
You won't want to miss this article on the original GT40 that was the camera car in Steve McQueen's movie Grand Prix. Enjoy! Redline Review Article Detail

James Garner was in Grand Prix.
Steve McQueen was in LeMans. |
1074 was used in Steve McQueen's 1971 film "Le Mans" as a camera car.
I think there was also an earlier build GT40 used as a camera car in the 1966 film, "Grand Prix" (with James Garner in the starring role). Interesting handbrake location on 1074, for a nervous passenger maybe... http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/...psf63bdb17.jpg Cheers, Glen |
