I do want to apologize to the OP for this editorial comment. The OP brought up his ERA purchase for $39K and I originally posted the "$42K ERA deal" here on Club Cobra a week or two ago. Those are facts. That last sentence was superfluous.

Default Acting bad again...

Seems like fdjake is doing the honorable thing. You know, full disclosure and all that stuff. I think he should be applauded. Once again, RodKnock, you have been bad. Yep, very bad indeed. Chas and I are no longer going to buy you those mags for Christmas.

Absolutely, you have every right to offer your advice...I will apologize if I implied otherwise.

That was not my intention, I was simply supporting the notion of free markets and willing buyers and sellers.

I happen to be a trader and options traders get killed every day when they have to cover. There are regulations but no honor among traders.

Nothing we couldn't discuss over a beer....peace..

Thanks Patrick. I appreciate all your support or lack thereof.

BTW, the Halibrand mags will NOT fit a Kirkham with the billet aluminum suspension. You must have an original-type suspension for the mags to fit. So, no mags for me anyway.

And to really piss Chas off, I may have to "butcher" a set of Trigos and try the Canepa blacked-out look.

I don't think black will look good. Now, even though my pics do not do the color justice, the beige treatment of my wheels would look outstanding on your mirror finish. The color is subtle... and perfect. But if you didn't like it, you could just paint over them. Quck question to the OP -- was it indeed the gapless ring problemo?

I was told a "Total Seal" ring issue...But that has NOT been confirmed.

As for Rodknock....No harm done...We're all good here.

Sorry to go off on ole Rodknock but Holy Moleey....You go OUT OF YOUR WAY to be TOTALLY Honest and then get slammed by someone that wouldn't know you if they sat down next to ya.

As far my investment success??? How do you think you get GOOD in this business (real estate investing) You get GOOD by SURVIVING long enough to LEARN.....

"Learning" is a translation for LOSING.....

I've done BOTH!!!

The one thing I have learned is you MUST explain to a seller WHY they should sell to YOU....That's all I'm trying to do here....If someone has a certain car that they don't use and something else comes along that they'd like to replace it with....I can help get that done....That's it...Nothing more, nothing less.

As far as PREYING on the VULNERABLE????

Are you kidding me???? How VULNERABLE are these people??? It's like saying I'm PREYING on all the VULNERABLE Owners of GULF STREAMS!!! These people aren't desperate or VULNERABLE.....They just want it DONE....They want to move into something else they like better without having to deal with the countless DREAMERS out there that have no shot of closing a deal...And the sad thing is there is NO WAY to tell the difference when you're selling something....I've had people look at houses that looked like they were homeless....and they ended being CASH BUYERS!!!! It's a pain in the @ss weeding through them.....ESPECIALLY IN YOUR DRIVEWAY!!!!

Well, for the record, you also have a thread going on GT40s.com, where I'm a member, and I have not and will not post anything over there. How am I doing now Patrick?

Beige anywhere on Cobra is strictly forbidden. It's written in the rules of Cobra ownership.

Exclamation

For the record, "mrmustang" stays out of pissing matches unless it includes the words "what year is your cobra", and "is it real".

new 347, upgraded AC with front evaporator(not in engine compartment), wide body option, 2 sets of BRM wheels, one with Goodyear Eagles mounted, the other with shown street tires. rear camera. upgraded shifter mechanism. I would probably let it go for 67K or so.

Awe Chuck.... Never thought I would see the day you would part with the CAV! All the cool cars you have had in your garage and the CAV was the one to stay! Great price, beautiful car!

yea, those pics were taken last year when i decided to sell it on cobracountry, but i just could not seem to part with it and never put them on. It just sits in the garage and that is a waste, so i think it is time to move on. It has been my favorite between the Kirkham, SPF MK11 and the Daytona. I will miss this one.

Yeah, there you go Gary... You are about due for another GT40.
I think this is Gordy's old CAV isnt it? I have pics of it when it had the snorkles on it. If I didnt own 137, this would be the one!
