You know if this came up for sale 30 years ago in this condition I would have purchased it. Maybe I shouldn't have posted this.

Note the non grommetted seats used on Mk I and Mk III road cars.

The Norwalk, CT meet I recall from that period was held at a Ford dealer's lot. Back then, meets weren't as large nor as perfected as they are today. And Marco, you were still hot *** of the day for a lot of folks there.

That's funny I never heard of those meets. We use to buy all our trucks at Ritar Ford and not from Griffen who was located in Greenwich & New Canaan.

Next thing somone is going to post there was an early SAAC meet over in stew Leonards parking lot.

Seems to me there used to be one near the razor blade factory and the helicopter place.Stopped at Cunninghams,Southport?Was with Bob Grossman from Nyack,.Driving #1007.Decidedly not legal in Ct.What a car.

I cannot imagine why anyone would sell that car... it will only appreciate in value...

People die. Not sure about this former owner. I've seen it hundreds of times a car gets sold after the owner dies. A fellow in my area died some time ago and now his collection hits the auction block.
