Turned into quite the discussion, a good thing. Being the GT40 in Chicago sold
and Hillbank never got back to me I ended up gong with a 2016 GT3 RS, should
be here in 6 to 9 days.

Great choice, hope you did not have to pay what they are asking in California for your RS.

Gt40 vs gt3 rs. Gt40 everyday every week every year. It's a gt40. Probably one of the coolest cars ever made.

Awesome, please post some pictures. Hopefully you chose a sophisticated color versus some neon bubblegum machine color that Rod would choose

Excellent choice. What color? Ultraviolet, Lava Orange, Signal Green, Riviera Blue? Hopefully, it's not a base house trim or refrigerator color, say, like White. Boring!

At least it's not a kit car replica of a 1960s race car.

Rod, you could spend a month of Sundays with your chrome polish and your Kirkum would still be invisible every time I showed up in my beautiful GT40. That must kill you inside huh...

The only time your white kit car would receive more attention than my polished aluminum kit car (aka work of art) is only if you had a story board, like the one previously posted by Cobra#3170, which claimed "THIS IS NOT A REPLICA." Why? Because the crowd around your replica would be giggling at the stupidity of that statement.

We're all still waiting here on the results from your hydrostatic body fat test? We didn't forget that you called us all fat. I have mine from February and I'll be scheduling my next visit soon. Bets? Place your bets.

And we're still waiting on the results from your race with Cobra#3170. I'm sure with your accomplished track record/experience you could beat him in a race.

I can't keep up with you Rod you win. There's a paddock section on the gt40 site you should check out. I rarely even view it because it's just pages and pages of arguing over anything and everything. I prefer to stay in the tech forums and learn and share ideas but you could certainly find people in the paddock to argue with until you're blue in the face. Truth be known I love all cars even VWs err I mean Porsches as well as FGTs imagine that!

Fighting BS and trolls is practically a full-time job, especially when they're are folks like you claiming the Porsche Carrera GT and 918, $750,000-$1,000,000 exotic supercars, or even the limited production classic 2005-2006 FGT, are the only cars worthy of parking next to your $100,000 kit car.

Nonsense knows no bounds.

Hopefully, you're just trolling and don't actually believe your BS.

The OP made the correct choice, with the purchase of the 2016 Porsche GT3RS, if you can only have one car. The SPF GT40 would make a nice 2nd or 3rd car for any car enthusiast that doesn't need more than just a tiny port hole in the window for air and have to run the A/C 100% of the time.

Just please purchase one in a hue that's not a base color from which all colors are mixed.

You can park your Kirkum by my beautiful GT40 just not too close ok. Go join the paddock. There are several guys on there that take this internet arguing stuff as serious as you do.

PS no A/C in my GT40. No satnav or cup holders either.

I'd be more impressed if you pulled the A/C, cupholders and GPS out of your Tesla.
