Cool Got mine!!!

License plate, that is... Don't you just hate it when someone uses misleading info to get you to read a post???

Anyway, went in to DMV last week to get my drivers license renewed and asked about vanity plates... The gal asked me what plate I wanted... I told her 1 LEMANS, just like my buddy Hershal Byrd... She said no problem and $30 and 30 days I should have the plate...

Now I just need to find a GT-40... Anybody know of any for sale... I routinely check the other sites but haven't seen anything that interests me... I don't have time to build a kit... sooo.....

Anyway, thanks again Hersh for the idea on the plate... I'll be in Phoenix at PIR this weekend and would be happy to buy you and your bride a steak Sun nite if you are available...

BTW, these plates are already taken for CA (UNK) AZ (Hersh) NV (spotterjoe)...

Hi Joe,
I just got back from a vacation in Key West, Florida. I didn't take a computer and didn't see this post until I returned today.
Hey, I know where you can get a great GT40 to put that Nevada
plate on.. I'll have it built your way and delivered in
five months..

Hersh

PS.. Did you see the new issue of Kit Car? I saw it the first time today..WOW!!...I like it!

Hersh,

You have to have the most famous, photographed, magazined GT40 replica ever. I have lost count of the number of magazines and such that I've seen it in. Doesn't hurt that its a fabulous car either...

Congratulations, and nice work.

Thanks Dave,
I really am surprised at how well the car has been recieved by most folks. I was at a large Car show in Pine Top, Arizona a couple weeks ago and the GT won first place. People were very interested in it and I think it's because of the new GT Ford getting a lot of press. I am enjoying every minute of owning this car. It's been the best one so far out of all the cars I've owned.

Hersh
