Arrow Kress GT-40 Crash.....

I had a message on my cell phone from Mike Zappa that Fran Kress crashed his GT-40 ! Beaver Run? I don't know if it was #1054 or the yellow car ? Sounds like a Bad One.........

Mike/Map

Just talked to Zappa. It was the yellow (427 GT-40) that went into the tire wall at Watkins Glen Thursday lotta damage. But Fran has tons of parts!

Hope Fran is OK. Is he hospitalized, or was he able to walk away?

regards,

Scattered the motor not the car. Fran was not driving, nobody hurt.

Oh hell. Its even worse when you don't get to crash your own car. That would really hurt...

Good to hear that no one was hurt. Cars can be replaced..

gman:

Just to confirm that all that got "scattered" was the motor and not the car, nor Frannie?

Jim

PS: Last I heard he had sold the yellow car to a couple of Japanese fellows.

Jim, talked to a friend of mine that knows Fran well, just engine problems. He had someone else driving the car. Couldn't tell you anything about a sale but I wish I could afford it. Gman
