Default ERA GT 2075 @ Pocono

This past weekend thanks to James Holden and Peter Portante was the maiden test for ERA GT 2075 at Pocono Raceways. The car performed perfectly with only 76 miles on the odometer. I need a few more miles to get use of the shifter and rev the engine higher than 5200 rpm. It was a great weekend with good friends. Enclosed is a picture at the racetrack

Jose:

Cripes, Jose! You didn't reveal the major problem we had out in Pocono. A problem that we didn't get solved all weekend and will require further trips out to PA to test again... We never found a decent piece of steak all weekend. Yep, what a let down.

Peter is still complaining about it. In fact he went for a MD's appointment and a scan of his lower GI tract just to check and see whether or not he had forgotten about having a steak that weekend. The scan was fine (all he remembers is something about the wonderful effect of the drugs, etc.), only some ancient damage caused by (we surmise) too many hot Italian peppers. But they didn't find any steak remnants. A lot of other debris... but no steak.

(For those of you who have never heard the song of a GT 120 degree exhaust singing on the banking at Pocono, you have not lived. ...and you have never seen a bigger grin on anyone's face than that worn by Jose all weekend. I understand he got held up at customs on his way back to PR because of that stupid grin. They thought he looked suspicious. No one could willing be going to PR with such a grin. They even threatened Jose with a strip search....)

180 Degree exhaust. I did not think that I would need reservations to eat in the middle of nowhere. We need a good Steak house at the Glen.

If I were going to build a GT 40, this would be it. Beautiful car Jose!

Thank You. Peter would love to sell you a GT so the Cobra would have company.
