Should be some ride going up to the radio telescope. Always was fun crossing the streets down there (have to look both ways even on a one way street). Now with that GT in town might need to look thru binoculars to get a head start.

It is a stroker 351 4V, 5 speed ZF, right .hand Drive, 17" Wheels, Power Brake 13" in front. The car will stay in New Britain.

I will post later a few pictures or visit the gt40s.com site.

That makes cents. Forgot about the "tax" to bring a car into Puerto Rico.

Call Peter Portante about the 17" Style BRM Wheels.

My first ERA GT was Ferrari Red (rosso corso) but I always wanted the Gulf Blue/Orange and Right Hand Drive. ERA did a great job and the decals are the finishing touch.

It does not make sense to bring the car to PR since I enjoy the car with friends with the same interest and shows in the area. I had the other gt in Tampa but was very expensive to move up north.

I hope this answer the questions.

Jose

I've watched your car from the beginning stages, beautiful car. I'm right behind you in line #2076. I should be on the road shortly in CT

Jose,

Beautiful car, saw it at Carlisle last year.

Does Tim Achenbach have your old red GT40? If so, I know it is for sale right now since he is (probably has) taken delivery of his new ERA GT40.

BTW - I think I met you at SAAC 25 at LRP when you were with Enzo!!!

yup, 2002 is still for sale last I heard.

If his new car is 2076, I do believe it is a turnkey. Its got some monster small block in it so he can race it along with his Radical.

Is that I responded to 2 messages. Lloyd GT40 is the future owner of 2076. I do not know Tim's new tub number. I know that the engine is not provided by ERA.

I am planning to make a site for all the constructions photos and details. All I need that Peter provides the pictures.

Jose

2076 Not a turnkey. Took delivery last november. The car is black with ghost stripes. I've got the same wheels as yours but left them natural. Same 351w mine is a little tamer. 408 stroker dynoed at 450hp. In fact i just came from firing it up for the first time. I do believe my nipples are still hard from the experience.of hearing the beast alive for the first time. You just got to love that sound. I'm real close to putting in the interior and terrorizing the neighborhood. My target date was may but family and bussiness obligations delayed that. I worked a lot with Ted building my car and he always used your car to show me the ways. I have pretty much seen your car built from scratch.

Era has been a real pleasure to work with, always willing to work with me no matter how many questions i had. Ted is a brilliant craftsman

Best of luck with the car Jose, it sure is a beauty, the great mustached one (aka Peter) always speaks highly of you.

I'm a regualer at ERA i'm sure our paths will cross one of these days

I have been two times at ERA to see the car and to hear the sound of the engine without any luck.

In this new car I wanted big brakes with power brakes to keep away modern cars in the track with better brakes and with horsepower to run away from the 427 Cobras. And good looks. I always wanted the blue/orange Gulf and RHD.

Next step fuel injection so that it will look like webers.

I hope to see you and your car in the near future.

thanks

Can't beat the lookl I'll attach a couple of work in progress pics. looks like i have to shrink my photos i'll get them up soon

irfanview is free to reduce the pictures or change the type of file.

Is not the same over the phone you miss a lot and no vibration.

Peter does not know what is the size of my 4V but from pictures it is larger than the one I have in my Cobra. Webers looks nice but I never had any problem with 2002 4V. Holden's FIA sounds sick and his GT sounded better by pushing it out of the trailer (I know Jimmy will get back at me after this).
