Talking It was bound to happen sooner or later....

While participating in the Route 66 Fun Run I woke up at the motel to find this.
I forgot my car cover. The snow didn't last long and it did warm up later on.
The week end cruise was really nice. There must have been close to 800 cars there.

That looks very chilly.

Hersh, I don't even bother with the thumbnails, can't seem to get them right either.

Hey TP, it was a little of both ice and snow.

Christen, I'll be going to R&G but I am still stuck here in Phoenix. So I'm not
sure which one I'll be leaving from. Don't worry, I'm sure Me and Bernie will have a good trip regardless of which one we leave from.

You're right Mikie, it could have been worse. But we had FUN !!

Well now you can never advertise it in HEMMINGS as "never seen snow!"

Who says a '40 is not an "all season car?"

Hi Rick,
Yep, she has been in some rough storms coming through Oklahoma
a few times but this was a first for the snow and ice. With just a few miles over 70,000 she still going strong. It did help some to have a good heater and defroster.

Default 70,000 miles?

Great looking car, then you tell us 70k miles?! Pretty awesome!

Guys, I'm looking for late model Ford GT parts. Anyone know of any damaged cars available or being parted out? Need a considerable number of parts for a racing project. Any help would be appreciated. Email wrsexton@cox.net or call 405-650-1625, Raleigh Sexton.

As for those Oklahoma storms, we be gettin' floooded lately. Would rather go back to tornados!

Mmm and after one of the toughest and longest droughts we are today being hammered by servere storms and heavy rains....

Appears the drought has certainly broken, but I'm not sure as if the water catchment areas are getting any run off yet or falls over them.

Been a tough one for the farmers and the man on the land..

So your experiencing early snow and over here it's rain after a drought...
