Default Trim Tip for GT40

I thought I'd share this with my GT40 friends. I took all the plexiglass from the CAV and masked all but 5/8" to the edges. (inside surfaces). A bit tricky but patience and good blue masking tape resulted in a satisfactory tape job
Cleaned thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, and then spray painted them black.
What it did, basically, was hide the sometimes not-too-neatly-applied gasket material under the glass. A nice weekend project.
I think it gives the car a more "finished" look.

Very good idea. That will come in handy with the MKIV. Thanks!

All original factory cars were done this way regardless of model. This included around the back window as well.
