Default ZF Trans parts

Folks:

Repeateed e-mails and calls to RBT gets no response. Is there any other source for ZF trans parts? I need the "o" ring gasket for the shift shaft into the trans.

Hey Jim .... I know nothing about ZF transmissions , but if it is just an "O" ring , you might be able to match it up at a local Mill Supply house or with someone who represents/sell Parker "O" rings . If you can get it out , they should be able to get the cross section and diameter . Durometer is something you might have to guess at . Most of those places also carry metric stuff . Maybe consider going to Viton if temps are a problem . Do NOT go to Teflon as it has no memory and will cold flow on you .

Hi Jim,

Try here: http://www.panterasbywilkinson.com/w...ore/store.html

Steve built my GT40 and he has a huge inventory of ZF/RBT parts.
