Forward progress.....
The pipes are a bugger though.
A few more panels then it’s clean up.
Almost to where I can move forward.

Ok, almost ready for clean up, tube installation and forward momentum.
Once the forward starts I’ll begin a new thread
Made progress today.
Might also be primed to service rear differential.

Stripped the glass panels today.
The trick, heat as heating the bonding agent allows it to pull away with force.
Stripped trunk frame clean. Ready for sand blast.
Doors next.

Doors stripped.
Next a quick blast then prime and paint.
HTM used s smaller tube on the upper part of door frame to allow fitment into the roll over.
Will cut off and replace with proper tubing down the line.

Moving right along Jeff! Gonna have it ready for SAAC at Pitt Race in July? I plan on being there.

Well I hope its done, however I am escorting Fran K to SAAC so I guess I'll have my hands full with that alone....
I'll leave my cars home as I am sure I'll have one of his to load etc...

Ok, ready for body......
This will be last post on this as it’s basically ready for forward momentum.
Yes there are a few tubes to be replaced but overall ready.
I’ll post positive results as they occur in a separate thread.
Best to all.

Old post but I have to ask. How did you order a body? I sure could use the front half. I tried to PM but I don’t think I have been here or had enough posts to get those privileges yet. I also read that you have fabed frame brackets. I need a few. You have a cool project going on!
You are better off fixing your own stuff. Unless you have a blank check it’s hard to get good results.

Max?
Best to call or email.
Basically, you will be limited to CSX-Glass or HTM (probably close) as some bodies are thicker due to frames and other the wrong shape.
I tried SAI and it was way to $$$, Gary even said Alloy.
HTM is gone so ..... Later did find a rear clip but alloy deposits were sent and I did not want to be a schmuck.
I ordered a alloy rear clip, doors, hood and boot. That too is a long process in the months and also not cheap. I'll start another thread when that process starts... Alloy in process...
BTW the SPF body will no doubt be difficult at best to fit, my guess thick and shaped differently.
These cars are expensive for a reason, costly and require a fair bit of drive and patience to complete. You can do it, we all can just depends upon your persistance.
Just understand you will have more $ into this than you plan for.
My contract below....
