Learjockey1 .... get the two sensor unit . Our cars have two separate sidepipes and this will allow you to see what each side of the engine sees . If you are running a dual plane manifold , then this will be a big help . I`ve got the FAST dual sensor system and it works well , except for the rpm module , which is not very accurate . In FAST`s defense , they said to send it back for a warranty repair . They also have a neat software package you can download that will allow either a "dashboard " display or you can print out , or display a graph of your run . Holding the cursor on a point will read out the rpm and A/F ratios at that point .
Several things they don`t tell you ... the memory is a flash memory and as such , will be erased by recording a second run .... it won`t store multiple runs . If you didn`t download the first one , it`s gone . Also , they say you can record up to about 20 minutes .... don`t try it . You can , but then things get so compressed , you can`t read it on the graph . Limit the runs to 5 minutes or less . There is no time scale , so it is difficult to get an accurate idea of the duration of any particular event .
My unit is still hooked up , so I will try to get some pictures , including where the sensors are located this evening .
Otherwise , a good unit so far as I have found several things I wouldn`t have otherwise .
