Default Wideband 02 sensor

I'm finally looking to put a wide band 02 sensor and gauge in my backdraft. I'm thinking about a gauge that mounts to or in the dash. Looking for suggestions and exact mounting location of the bung.
Thanks

Mounting location for the bung will depend on how your exhaust system is configured.
As a rule of thumb you want it as close as possible to the exhaust ports at a point where the exhaust for all four ports is passing.
If you're running individual header pipes to a collector put it in the system at the collector or somewhere down stream. In some systems this will put it a long way from the exhaust ports. I believe the general consensus is within about 18" or closer to the exhaust ports for best results.

I made a little gauge pod for my wideband meter and a vacuum gauge and mounted it below the dash. I installed bungs in each collector. It works fine.

I recommend the AEM gauges . I have my sensor(s) about 2 inches downstream of the headers. I tried their digital gauge for a few years, but switched to the analog type. Looks better in a vintage car to me.
