It is good to see that the new owners' business success is not based exclusively on manufacturing and selling replica roadsters. This is a good sized, family owned business, that is in the fabricating business - producing a range of specialty products incorporating design, engineering, fabrication in addition to marketing, sales, and distribution. They are in a position to utilize in-house assets without pressure for revenue from the Hurricane product to "stay alive". Should be a very good fit.

And did I mention they have more than one welder?

Not to dwell on the past, Jim, but am I correct in hearing you say that the White's did have a welder? That tuxedo cat of mine could have made better welds than the work the boys from Mansfield attempted for me.

Life is good now

They had a welder in the sense of a little blue machine on rollers that could make a spark. But as you know all too well, they didn't seem to have a human who could operate it, a key prerequisite in building Cobra replicas.

But that's all behind us now.
