Good Guys - Pleasanton, Ca.
Preping the Hurricane for a trip up the California coast in August. Going to trailer it across the desert to Burbank and then cruise up Hwy. 101 to the Pleasanton- Good Guys Car show on the 24th of August. Going with my brothers club the Burbank Roadkings, should be a blast...and a lot cooler than Lake Havasu City.
Hope to see some more Cobra's at the show.

Fighting Murphy
I signed on a few weeks ago and then the unthinkable happened Saturday when i cranked up the Cobra and out the right pipe billowed white smoke.
I shut her down and popped the bonnet to find a fair amount of antifreeze coming from the right front side of the intake manifold. Just intake gaskets needed to be replaced but while I was at it spark plugs, oil, and new antifreeze were installed as well.
All is well for now and hope to be there if ol Murphy doesn't pay another visit.

Hopefully you'll see a few other Cobras at the show, but that weekend is the annual Snakes to the Lakes run. About 60 or so of us are headed up to Tahoe for the weekend.

Made it to Pleasanton and back, almost 900 miles. Great show, lots of beer and fun. The cobra ran great, no problems, ran cool, started great and didn't leak or burn anything...except plenty of gas.
Fun trip, saw a few cobras at the show, none as nice as the Hurricane.

I couldn't make it up to the GoodGuys show Pleasanton this year, but my cousin who judges for the GoodGuys sent me this pic of the elongated/bagged Cobra. Wild!
