A Little Hurricane & Neiman Marcus History circa 1997
The body molds that are present day Hurricane were derived from CSX3235 by a guy in Dallas that started Component Craft Replicas. These page scans are from the 1997 NM Christmas catalogue, where the jade green jewel was offered at their Christie's charity auction, babe not included:

Yep....my first Cobra (currently on my 6th now) was a red with white stripes Component Craft built by Jerry Connolly back in early 1990s......Was a nice car with 351, 5 speed and Ford 9 inch rear end. Loved all the aluminum panels the car had and how period correct the body was. Fit and finish was nice....

Go South
Chas,
You're learning real quick why people are inclined to give up their Yankee roots and move South
Only problem is I've gone thru my parts boxes for my Hurricane build and still can't find my zephyr. Backordered, maybe?

I had a zephyr, which became------
a non-zephyr.

Forget it Paul, I have been trying for a year but he's too set in his ways. He has his trusty barber, his favorite cleaners, his favorite bagel shop, his favorite ocean view. No way he'd cut loose with all that in favor of 70* average temps, endless stretches of blacktop, $3/gal premium and bars and sidewalks full of those zephyrs.

Stopped needing barbers and cleaners a decade ago. Bagels and the ocean is all I have left to enjoy-besides fixing leaks.
Don't keep rubbing it in Happy Man...
