Anyone know if this is true? I really hope not.
I just read a post on the Hurricane forum about Hurricane no longer taking new orders. For some reason I can not post to that forum anymore but I could still read the posts, which was last night. I hope this is not true as I was looking to order one soon. Anyone know more?

I spoke with jason a little more than a week ago and they have a lot of orders to fill I would not believe they would not take new ones Now I'm curious so I will call over today (I have jasons cell #)

They have stop taking orders becasue of a couple of reasons. Too get caught up and to do some upgrades and some combining some options into a more complete package. I don't think you will have anything to worry about.

As stated by Gregg. Just got an email from Richard. All is good. "We are currently not taking orders as we catch up on some things and make adjustments to our product line."
Busy is good but sometimes not for the consumer. Guess paitence is required. |
Well, be patient! Hopefully Mike or Rich will post what is going on instead of everyone speculating!

Come on everyone has to make money so why not take orders and push the date back but to say we are not taking orders at this time is very very bad!
This can all be rumors but what do we know since when it is put on their site they only delete it instead of killing the rumors that are out there. I am not trying to cause issue I just want the truth, for some of us this is what I do I read every post out there waiting for the day I can order my Hurricane. I am just sad that I can't. :CRY: Just stop the rumors and tell us what’s up! |

Has anyone ordered a Kit from Hurricane in the past two months?
Does anyone find it strange that we have not heard from Hurricane on these rumors? Every one that has had the honor to deal with Hurricane knows that if this post was put out last October that Mike and Rich would call every single person that they have the number for to tell them what is going on. That’s why we love Hurricane. They have always treated their customers very very good and I think we are all surprised that they have not commented. And I hope they will let me order my car very soon.. Josh |

For someone contemplating which company's product to purchase, such tales are not overly encouraging. I realize that no replica manufacturer is obligated to post on the forum, but surely they must realize the importance of this site in particular and that they must work on maintaining the public's confidence in them. No one is so busy they can't take a minute or two at the end of the day to post a quick comment.
Hopefully all's well that ends well. |
