Kahn, I love the car. I've been watching your blog for quite awhile, glad to see you are just about there. I saw a Hurriicane at the London show about 3 years ago. I fell in love with it when I saw it in person, and I am just really sad to see the company init's current situation.
I looked through all your pics, and it lools like a slight flare just in front of your deck lid. Has that been added durring the body work, or is it just an illusion in the pictures? I don't remember seeing that on other Hurricanes, but your car looks awsome! I love the color, it reminds me of one of the few times I've seen a real Cobra in person, classic.

Thank you for the nice compliments. yeah..there is a bit of a flare before the trunk. I swear it wasn't there before but my paint/body guy says it was. I think he built up that area to help fit the trunk. the trunk had a terrible fit.
I gotta take the hood back to be redone too. The scoop is not centered!
Thanks again for the compliments.

Khan, was the hood scoop molded in at the factory or did you get the rivet on scoop? [edit--now that I've taken a "larger" look at the Photobucket album I can see that it is the rivet on scoop.......we carpenters always say, "measure twice, cut once", and we STILL make mistakes, I did on my most recent project!]

It came riveted on from the factory. Not sure how the new owners will do it.
