Default Using a remote starter switch....novice question

I have a remote starter switch that I know gets one connection to the positive of the battery and the other to the starter solenoid, I think. However, I'm not sure where that is on my 427 FE (Kirkham). Is it on the firewall or ??. thanx steve

Do you have a selonoid like this one? If so, then you jump fom the large battery side (left side) to the smaller terminal marked "S" usually the left one if there are 2.

If your starter looks like this and you have no selonoid on the firewall like the one above, then you bridge the "B" and "S" terminals.

Steve, thanx for the response. I figured it out using my test light and my prior experience with a Corvette SB starter. Indeed, the solenoid is on the firewall, tho not labeled. I'm all set and thank yoiu so much for confirming my predictions. Have a good weekend. s

Default Remote Starter

I just hook mine up to the relay using the 2 post sticking straight out an turn the ignition on, if you do not want it to run pull the coil wire.
