Unique580hp,
Are you going to the Unique gathering in May ? I am heading down on thursday morning to hang out early and meet everyone. Friday is the car show and factory open house and on saturday a cruise through the mountains and a couple of meal stops. If you are still thinking about selling your car this might be a great place to be.

That would be a blast. The only trouble I have with mine is that I don't have a top. So I would be really taking a chance driving it from Indiana to Georgia and back. If I can borrow a friends enclosed trailer, I might take it down.
You are correct in that it would be a good time to sell it.

Thanks Bernie!
On the way home last night I was behind a blue/white Superformance with a top all the way through Newburgh. My wife would have no part of me stopping him for an introduction so I do not know who it was.
I never knew there were so many around.

Waynes brother Robs car is blue - not a SPF.
Did not see any 'Superformance' Cobras in Indiana when I was there.
Have you managed to catch up with Wayne, Rob or Scott Richey there?
Hope to back there early next year???
Cheers
Bernie

Brent,
Did the magazine turn up. Hope I got the mailing details correct
Spoke with the guys in Evansville today (evening your time) and they are keen to do something once the weather breaks.
Heard it was reasonable over the weekend and a few Corvettes were seen out enjoying the partial sunshine ..
W are going into winter here and I will have the Cobra in for paint and having the roof organised. I have Posted one or two questions to make sure I get my colour right and get some ideas for my roof etc.
Will update the gallery once progress is made.
Stay warm there.
Cheers
Bernie

Bernie-as always it was great talking to you last night. Sounds like a great holiday you have coming up in New Zealand.
Brent & Bob- we need to compile a list of all the other owners in the E-Town and get together some evening in the old K-Mart lot at the Lloyd & Burkhardt. Sorry I missed you Brent, my wife said she saw a Cobra drive by the house. There must be close to 20 in the area now.

WT,
The K-Mart gathering sounds great.
My wife and I are going to hop in the Cobra and go to dinner for her birthday on saturday and then go to the ford club anniversary
behind the mall if weather permits.

Wayne
I asked my son Todd to email Mark the photos of his Mini Cooper 'S' . I have driven it a few times and it really fun.
You may remember how hard it is to get my son to send phots/emails, but he told me this morning that he has not forgotten.
Was great to catch up there on the phone. Say hi to Scott and Rob for me.
Brent hope you got the magazines alright.
Cheers - enjoy the cruising there.

Bernie,
Thank you! I did recieve them on monday.
What a reality check that was. An RV in Ausie country must have a solid gold chassis. The prices after the exchange rate is scary. I plan to present it to my sales staff in this weeks meeting. In the US we can sell twice the RV for half the price. A couple of the used 5-W RVs in the book match a couple I have in stock right now. After the exchange rate the price was $47,000.00. We have ours marked at $12,000.00
IOU1
Thanks

Brent,
You are right with prices. Ned Kelly (Jessie James) the outlaw is alive and well over here.
There is a sales yard in Queensland owned by Roly Leahy. He brings the larger up to 35 foot into Australia on the flat top containers as deck cargo.
I know the conversion cost could be up o $20,000 Australian for left to right hand drive, but sure there is a big profit added on.
I took a little interest in the RV's in the States and was astonished at the prices. Prices similiar to the $12,000 amounts you talk of.
Guess your sales team may have suggested that the hard to move RV down the back of the yard should be sent to Australia, converted and sold for double the profit???
Enjoy summer, and hope you get to catch up with Wayne and the guys there.
Cheers
Bernie

I hope not.

Hi all,
Just got back home after taking in the very last of the sunshine up on our Murry River.
Jumped on a Houseboat there with a few others and spent a little over a week cruising from northern Victoria west down into South Australia.
Its is very relaxing and must say took a few days to get back into work mode.
Due to being away the Cobra is still on blocks in the shed here. I have a few small 'finishing off' things to do and its to the paint shop. I was jumped as I did not get the car to the shop prior to going.
Anyway will be ready for summer...
Have just taken delivery of a Ford utility. "Aussie Mike" on the Australian forum has posted some photos of his utility. I have purchased a similiar utility in dark blue.
So the Cobra will need to go quickly so I can do some work in the garage to fit it back in.
Hope you are all going well there.
Cheers
Bernie

Hey Wayne did Todd my son send those photos of his Mini Cooper "S".
He tells me he tried to send them to Mark's email address but had a problem. So I told him to send them to you.
Will follow up with him.
It is hard to find him at home as he is out cruising all the time in the little Cooper "S". Keeps him from asking about the Cobra though.
Cheers
Bernie

Not as far as my insurance agent knows
I'll be at Putnam Monday (with a gray fender). I believe Scott is going. Any others?

Of course that's to make your car distinctive from the others...right?
