what oil for new KCraft?
Actually, this is for Rob at KeithCraft Motorsports in Plano.
Rob, I'm close to 800 miles on BDR #139 in spite of the weather. You hand-built that 351W and dynoed it three times that I know of. What oil do you want me to use in your baby? I paid big bucks for one of the sweetest powertrains around- help me here. This is the only KCraft I will ever own, probably. UT |

800 Miles already? I dont think my dad put that many miles on his Mustang the past couple of months. I hope the weather is good for over there in OK, supposted to be 60 here tomorrow, better than 30. |
What I like to do is get about 5000 miles on the engines before we use any synthetic oils. I like to use a 10w40 oil in the cooler weather and 20w50 oil in the hotter weather. I use Vavoline or Castrol mostly. Good luck, Keith Craftl
