Default Keith Craft Comes Through - Even after the fact

Not very often something like this happens so I am happy to report it. After scouring the country for a Scat crank to meet my spec, I find one at Keith Craft (I think I spoke with Tony?). Yup - knows exactly what I need, and has it on the shelf. Bought, shipped, everything A-OK. I'm a happy camper.

Many days later, I notice a posting discussing an FE build, where KC mentions a price some $100.00 lower than what I had happily paid days earlier. Hmmm... price probably had gone up I figured - even so, the original price was pretty good.

Sent a pm to KC to point out his posting probably had an old price in it.... and got a swift reply - no mistake - there is a Club Cobra discount (I never thought to mention CC when I first called) - and no problem he will square me up. 24 hours later, my card is credited back $100 - just like that - almost 2 weeks after the sale.

Wow. There really are some nice guys out there.

Signed: A very happy customer.

Remember to take care of the vendors that take care of us!

It's good for them and it's good for us to keep them in business.

Cheers!

Default Silly Question....

This might seem like a silly question, but I will ask it anyway. So if there is a discount for CC members does that mean we get a discount on the SB Ford 427ci Special posted on the web site. Or is the discount just toward individual parts. I'm not complaining either way, but that sure would be sweet!!!

Default Discount

I would be interested to know that as well, as I never mentioned CC when KC built my 373!

We have specials from time to time for the CC members and they are posted here. Like the 427 SBF that you mentioned along with some other packages we have put together. The custom one of stuff takes a lot more time to do and odd parts that we do not normally keep and they always will run a little more. We try to deliver a quality product at a far price. The engine business is a very tough business with little mark up in parts and little or no help from vendors on problems. This why we have to put in about 14 hours a day and take of about one week a year. Trying to provide a quality service at a far price but we are human and do make mistake every now and then as do some of our customers. Just try to work with everybody on having a nice product in the end. Thanks, Keith

Keith,
I just ordered the 427W with TWM. Is there any chance of getting a discount price? How about a military discount? ...How about I clean the shop floor for a week? lol

I might take you up on the cleaning the floor for a week. We try to keep the prices where we can use the best parts for the application and do a very nice job with the machine work. We have held the pricing the same for a while now even though we have had several price increases this year from our vendors. We are in the process of reviewing things right now and will have to have a price increase after the first of the year because of another price increase from the vendors. Thanks, Keith

Hi Keith, Billyboy here. I just bought Bdr #89 from Don in Texas with your 427w all aluminum engine. How sweet it is! I would like to suggest you come out with valve covers and air cleaner with your logo on them, similar to Jack Roush. I would gladly put them on my Backdraft!

Default Valve Covers

We do have valve covers available and I thought that Don had some on his engine. I will be happy to make you a good price on some. I have done them several different ways for my customers in the past. We have our logo valve covers and then we do some that say 427SB Cobra by Keith Craft with the by Keith Craft under the 427SB Cobra. We can take your air cleaner if you like it and mill and ingrave something on it if you would like. Feel free to give me a call. Thanks, Keith
