Default Lost coolant hose E ticket ride

I was out for a drive the other day when I had quite the ride after losing a coolant hose. I had just got on it in second gear then shifted into third and the tires broke loose and I felt the car start to slide sideways. I think the tires let loose because of the coolant that was dumping out, got off the gas didn't use any break and corrected the car three times before she went around and now we are going backwards. I have a concrete barrier five feet on my right and all I am trying to do is keep from slamming into it. Not much traffic so everyone was able to avoid one another. Should I have tried using the throttle to help from spinning around?

Maybe it's time to go to driving school.

In this situation I do not know if there would have been anything that you could have done. With the water getting on the back tires and them breaking loose it is hard to control these short wheel base cars. Letting of the gas and not putting on the brakes was about the best thing that you could have done. If you had the car pointed straight you might have been able to get back on the gas and drive out of it but doubtful. Hope everything is ok with the car. Thanks, Keith

Thanks Keith,
Nothing wrong with the car just fixed the hose. I was in a long sweeping corner which contributed to what happened. Radiator fluid and horsepower don't go well together.

By the way I bought James Wambold's Superformance, you guys have done a great job maintaining it.

Thanks,
Jim
