Kieth, I was joking, I'm sure most people here understand it's impossible to keep photo journals of every build.

Your work speaks for itself...

Never took a picture while it was in the crate or coming out but it looks the same without the Wood around it ;-)

Tool Time George & Rich,
Once again I would reccomend Keith for doing your motors. I have every bit of confidence in him and his work.

Just so everyone knows I am not saying I am unhappy, I was just surprised to get duplicate pictures of what I thought were my exact parts. It did bug me a little, because at the time I thought the pictures sent to me were of my exact parts. But now that Keith has explained (thank you for taking the time Keith) that they were just pictures of the parts being used and not the exact parts, I'm OK. It was probably just a communication mixup in the email that was sent to me when the pictures were sent. The other pictures sent to me I know are my exact pictures, from now seeing my motor in my garage. I can understand where Keith is coming from on the time constraints of not being able to take pictures of the different parts for each motor. I have no doubt that what was sent to me in the pictures is what is in my motor.

I am a happy and satisfied customer.

Once again, from dealing with Keith and seeing a lot, and I mean a lot, of his motors I would reccomend no other for an engine builder, and especially an FE builder.
I hope this clears things up?

Believe me if you put the wrong stuff in an engine it will be found out soon enough and you will not be in business very long. Everyone can rest assured that they got the right parts but maybe the wrong pictures. I do not have the time to do that and answer phone, order parts, work on heads, build engines, go to shows, do ads, dyno engines, work on customers cars, answer e-mails and clean the bath room. Sorry about that and we will try to do better. Thanks, Keith Craft
I thought the bathroom was really clean Keith

Default Keith Craft Warranty

Folks,

I am looking at a Keith Craft 408 for my Cobra. Does anyone know if KC has a warranty and if so what it is. Thanks!

Fuelish,
I can't answer your question but you might try calling KC or check his website. He is a vendor at this site, just click on his ad for the link.

We offer a 2 year/ 24,000 mile warranty on the engines. This is for street engines and not race engines. Any of these warranties are only as good as the company backing them. Some may be in business and some may not be two years from now.
We have seen all sorts of problem over the years from wrong installations to people missing shifts and floating the crap out of their engines and bending valves. We have to look at every situation individually to see what happened but I can say that I have very few if any people that I have not done right. We have fixed things over the years when the vendors that we use would not even stand behind their product because they call them performance engines. This is the biggest problem with the performence engine business. Luckly we do not have to many problems with these things.

Thanks, Keith Craft

As a customer with 3 years and 14k miles on his KC 427W I can vouch for that. Very few people stand by their word these days, but Keith goes above and beyond. I have had two issues with my engine - failed intake manifold gasket and "soon to fail" cam shaft gear. Keith has stood behind both issues even though they were issues with his vendors and not his doing. He is a straight up guy who builds great engines.

Thumbs up 408w or 427w

Thanks Keith and Doug. I have heard nothing but good about your operation Keith. I am up stream from you in Missouri. This will be an early 2010 project. Just need to make up my mind between a 408 or the 427w. Thanks for your quick response!

Mike

I was first thinking 408 when I started talking to Keith, then he talked me into a 427 and I am SO GLAD. Trust me, two months after you get the 408 you will be kicking yourself for not getting the 427. Cost difference is negligible.

Best of luck!
Doug
