SPO 2891 Wire Wheels Are On
Hi Guys,
The Dayton Wire Wheels arrived at Dynamic today, they installed them and here you can see the results.
I love them. Not everyone's taste but I like them just fine for my street look.

Juan,
They look perfect for the car! Let's see some pics without the top on. Do you need to safety wire the knock-off's? Also, what tires did you decide to run?

Sweet yes
The tires are BFGs.
The knock offs cannot be safety wired. This is my second Cobra with Dayton Wire Wheels and you have to check the wheels' wings after each day of cruising and they will never come off.
Once I get the car home I will shoot some pics with top off.

Juan....the wire wheels look absolutely correct without the hood scoop and sidepipes. Good Choice....the hardtop is another story...

Your wire wheels add that "extra British" touch and really show the "roots" of the design of the Cobra. I love it!

Juan, did you use the standard wheel hub adapters? If not, what do you have? and could you provide the Dayton # of that wheel? It looks great, BTW.
Cheers!

Adapters and Wheels
The wheels and adapters were custom built to fit the Superformance. Mine are the first ever made for Superformance. You can't just order a part number.
If you are interested in wire wheels made specially for a Superformance MKIII you have to talk to:
Shane Miller
Dynamic Motorsports
513-738-4000
He has all the specs Dynamic had to give Dayton to order the wheels.
Now, these are custom built, not off the shelf. So if you are interested in a set you have to be ready for a wait of well over 6 weeks. And not cheap.
As for the top, you either like it or you don't. I love a top on my cars.

Wire Wheels
Juan,
Great job on the wire wheels. A top can come in handy if it rains . I've been caught out in the rain twice and I have no top. So much for the weather weenies forecasts. Don't forget to post the pics without the top.
