I said thanks, that would be great!......and eventually got to the "how much?" part of the discussion. "Don't worry about it, we just have to get our tools."

Mind you, I hadn't bought the car directly from the Kirkhams.

Next thing I know, they're making arrangements to have their tools airlifted to the Reno airport overnight.

The next day, I get up fairly early (for me on vacation anyway) and wander out to the parking structure. I couldn't believe it, the dent was already gone, and Sandwich was just sanding the remains of the file marks out....you now can't tell that there was ever anything wrong with that fender. I offered to pay, or at least buy them breakfast, they refused, and said that they just like to take care of "their" cars."
I was up at the Cobra Bash in Reno in 2007 as a spectator. I'm not sure if it was Ron's car, but I watched the Kirkham boys pound out a dent in a Kirkham (car was parked in the Nugget parking garage) in no time and the car looked like new. The guys that did the work were magicians!

Default Rest of the Story!!!

Yes, I am scheduling to take it to Kirkham Meca next week hopfully, seems like the boys have been busy fixing some other Kirkahms' Ouchs'. Job security for them.

TOld the adjuster it will be going to Provo to be fixed. So far he said "OK". Goes there anyway- that simple.

The real complexity to the story is that my wife hit it while pulling her car around to my shop to get washed. The car was in the garage- She pulled up put on the brakes- We all know she accidently put on the gas- She tried to dodge to the left- Hit the car on the the left with her front right side of the bumper- Knocked the car to the front of the garage- Stopping short of my Snap-On tool box by less than an inch.

THe real thought, SPIN. It is reall my fault! If it had been any other car- not the car I build with my own hands- she probably would have not freaked out and panicked- just stopped. So I am eventually going to blame it all on George Bush.

Yes she is still alive- 28 year invetment very expensive. I love my Kirkham but I love her more.

That car was mine at the 2007 Bash. Sandwich saw me drive up with a dent in the left rear quarter and came over and offered to take it out. I offered to pay but he wouldn't take my money so we finally settled on lunch in South Lake Tahoe. It was another example of the great customer service that the Kirkhams provide.

Sorry to hear/see that buddy, but your wifey's a keeper.

Besides you loving her more, you should be getting more loving.

Excellent. You know you could always have them toss another roll bar on that beautiful car as well.

Serious question: His roll bar looks a little taller. Is it just the angle of the photograph or does Kirkham provide a choice of heights?

It's probably the angle, not 100% sure. Mine is pretty tall too and sticks up above the windshield.

By the way, pretty picture.

Maybe the Kirkhams should polish that car while in UT.

Jamo,,,,you are just a hopeless romantic.

Patrickt,,it is adjustable, when i got my stainless roll bar from kirkham i cut about 7 inches off. About an inch above my helmet.
