Oh I know that, I have heard that about the Prius's, but we know its not about practicality or use (well most of us anyhow). It about great marketing and money. If I was a tree-hugger, was wealthy, and had to have the "appearance" of being "green" because of my status or company, this is not a bad option. Like it or not, its smart. Having you rcake and eating it and looking good doing it, as long as you can afford it.
Hey, if I had the garage space, and the time... a Tesla would be fun!

Yes, but it's only got half an engine. a 917 should have a flat 12, not a 6.
The sound of a 917 is something very special, a '6 just wouldn't be the same.
This is prototype number 2. This car is Hayabusa powered, full time 4WD with an auxiliary 4 speed transmission (24 forward gears), and on the fly adjustable ride height. The important point of the video is not the drive train but the suspension. The production car is slated to have V8 power and 500+ HP...
We have also worked with companies in Sweden, France, Germany, England, Ukraine and Russia. Greece has had by far the best climate in the winter. As you can probably imagine Russia had the worst.
Is this a joke, a hoax, or an early release of accurate information?
I think the car is really neat, especially at the end of the video where the various body renderings are shown.
But is this REALLY what your next project will be?
Others may know your sense of humor but I do not.
I actually hope this is what you are going to do.
And add this car to my dream car list...

Guys, this is no joke. We will be working on this baby this year. I is one of the most amazing rides you could ever take in your life...That coming from a guy who has driven a lot of Cobras over the years (and Kirkhams too).
It will drive over a curb at 50 mph and you really don't feel anything. Drive it on the tarmac and then off-road. It is crazy. They needed someone to produce it and gave us a call. We spent several days in Greece; the test drive was better than a Cobra and a roller coaster combined.
I'll post pictures of when I climbed the Parthenon. That's no joke either.
