Default Kirkham guys, is something shady going on here?...

Hey guys,
Just found this interesting add on the local craigslist. Thought I might make the Kirkhams aware of the fact that their name and website is being used to try and drum up business for someone else, unless ,of course they are involved somehow, which does not make sense to me.
The whole ad is very peculiar.

If I read that correctly, 6 chassis and 6 bodies for $20,000 to roller status? Yeah, good luck with that.....

Seeing as how they are posting a want ad, looking for someone to build them a body/chassis... I don't see a problem? They are not selling anything.

As I read it, the poster is looking for a metal shaper to build three 289's and three 427 replicas. He wants to pay this person $20,000... (yeah right!) but I don't see anything wrong with it. He's just using Kirkham as an example of what he's after. That's my take on it.

The real question is - what does he want to do with 6 cars?

They'll be no MSO's-how do you resell and register them? Will they become 'air cars'?

Any of you guys want to buy 'backyard craftsman' cars?

That's actually four questions...
