Hey guys,
Just found this interesting add on the local craigslist. Thought I might make the Kirkhams aware of the fact that their name and website is being used to try and drum up business for someone else, unless ,of course they are involved somehow, which does not make sense to me.
The whole ad is very peculiar.

Duplicate & fabricate (3) complete rolling chassis for 3 – Cobra 289 & (3) Cobra 427 out of steel tubing (aluminum, chrome-molly, carbon fiber, etc. ) for aluminum bodied Ford “Shelby 1965 roadsters;” inclusive of all the components ready to build it into a “roller” minus engine, tranny & body. Seeing as how they are posting a want ad, looking for someone to build them a body/chassis... I don't see a problem? They are not selling anything.

As I read it, the poster is looking for a metal shaper to build three 289's and three 427 replicas. He wants to pay this person $20,000... (yeah right!) but I don't see anything wrong with it. He's just using Kirkham as an example of what he's after. That's my take on it.
