I have seen that episode. They took it to Shelby Las Vegas and they said it was a real Shelby. They paid to have it completed by Shelby Las Vegas. This was a year or two ago.

But isnt a shelby frame with a kirkam body still considered a really shelby. but what the ad say is its a nos shelby so the body would have to be a ac body i just thought the body looked nice and shiny new like a kirkam body would.

No, Shelby SELLS aluminum body cars, they don't really make anything.

Considered a "real Shelby", you ask? Ah,,, the perenial "is it real" question once again raises it's ugly head. Fortunately the Federal Trade Mark court rendered an opinion on this very question. Shebly vs FFR, Shelby lost, but I digress...
The courts opinion was that Shelby makes a "replica", just like FFR, ERA, BDR, SPF and even, yes, wait for it, Street Beasts! So there it is, from the courts mouth to this thread, finally, an answer!
Fake TV show meet's fake Shelby. HA HA HA, it's a riot in a tin can.

Oh no, not that again.
If you were to compare a Kirkham aluminum roller to a British-made roller the difference is night and day. The Kirkham will need a few spots smoothed out on the joints, but the British roller is very very rough. Seams still show rivets and welds, the aluminum looks all scratched, etc. The Kirkham body is probably 80% to being done, the British is probably less than 50%. The difference is because the Kirkham pieces are pressed (or vacuum shaped) to form so it'll look more finished in the field, whereas the British is all hand formed and looks like it. I saw the delivery of one of the British rollers to SA a couple of years ago. It needed a lot of TLC to be finished.

In any case, please remember that Pawn Stars is entertainment TV. Take what you saw there with a shaker full (not a grain) of salt.
I also believe the nature of the roller precludes a Kirkham. Shelby no longer delivers unfinished rollers to anyone.
