I had a customer stop by from California. That set me back a few minutes. I'll look for the shift rods after the 11:00 (maybe 11:10 now) sale item. It is rather big so I we have to move some things around.

We actually made 2 of those cars. One for a customer and one for me . Then, the customer decided he wanted both of the copper cars. So, another one is being made in Poland right now.

Have to look. I don't think we have one. But I will check.

Here it is.
Below is a Kirkham 427 KMS
This is a bare frame and body. No other parts are included. The body has simply been welded together and not straightened. We very rarely sell cars in the welded condition. ALL our cars start out identical to this. When a customer orders a POLISHED body, we simply take the next car off the stack. If you are really into doing it yourself, this is your chance. A frame and body retails for $30,000. We will let this car go for $19,950
First come first serve.
This is a picture of the welds.

Ah, brings back sweet memories! Except mine is a FIA, it's fiberglass, square tube BUT it stirs the memory. That would make a sweet x mas gift for one lucky guy! If I bought that you would be selling me cheap next year, because I'd be living in your rafters! Can you hold out till Friday, Power Ball is drawing near! I'm feeling lucky!! I'd still like to be the UPS guy that comes to your shop, wouldn't get much done for the rest of the day but it would be worth the daily visits! I still want the billet reservoirs, funny thing is they quit leaking (today that is)HA! Thanks! Matt

I'd get it one piece at a time
And it wouldn't cost me a dime
You'll know it's me when I come through your town
I'm gonna ride around in style
I'm gonna drive everybody wild
'Cause I'll have the only one there is a round.
Johnny Cash was writing about this car, I swear! Except for the costing a dime part...

Would you throw in a hood scoop and make it an even $20k?
(PS.. Not a serious offer, but I would seriously love it)

Is it a street (not S/C) configuration?
I wouldn't even know where to start with something like that. You know. Me being the big DIY'er that I am.

It is an S/C - see the fender flares on the rear, oil cooler scoop, gas filler indentation, roll bar hole etc... They just haven't cut the hole in the hood and riveted the scoop on. The 427 Street IS the best iteration of these cars however.

Kinda looks like that "CSX" Cobra on Pawn Stars! Mmm, my wife has always wanted to go west with the boys. make a little detour. David, these posts leave me wanting more and make my head hurt at the same time! Can we set up a Paypal account for every Father's Day/ X mas/ Bday/ etc. Maybe it could be like the old cd of the month. You just send a single part out to complete it every month for the next 7 years. Kinda like desavoue to me.

I couldn't agree more.
Hex, sorry, you're right. I could have answered my own question if I actually took a real look at the pics.

Just get one of the miscellaneous bandit signs off the street and use a sharpie on the back side:
Will Work for Cobra!
