Very interesting parts. These are replacement bushings for the sway bar of an original 289 or 427 Cobra. We bought these some 10 years ago from Mark Hefte. Mark Hefte bought out Shelby's inventory when they finally went out of business. These are OEM replacement parts.
UPDATE!!!
WE HAVE MANY SETS OF THESE. PRICE IS FOR ONE BAG.
Retail $25
Today $10
MANY SOLD--MANY STILL LEFT IN BOX

Good morning David !
Now depart the gym and get to work!
If the bundle of oil lines are -10, I'll take them.
Don't ship until you send or post the info on the 427 soft top (cond., price)
Thanks,
Ted

I'll try to get to the top. Not sure when I can dig it out, however.
The lines are all -12. You can use them on a 427 or a 289. All our 427's run -12 lines. I added that to the above post.

As always, thanks.

David, thank you for sharing these parts with us at this kind of pricing. I've been looking for a wiring harness for months. I wanted it to be something special for what I'm trying to do and now I have it. Not every manfacturer is willing to sell their special parts to Joe Blows like me. Your Kirkham pedal box is going to be one of my favorite things on my new car.
Here's a few other things I'm going to need at some point so if you find it...
~ top radiator hold down thingiemabob
~ Weber parts / weber intake for 302-based small block, fuel log, etc
~ assorted trim rings for trans shifter, roll bar
~ dash mounted rear view mirror
~ proper gauges for 289 car
~ proper battery mounting solution for 289 car
Thanks,
Jim

David,
If you still have those $10 bags of sway bar bushings I'll take 2. Just add them
to the brake cans and bracket. #142 This is like an extra Christmas!
Thanks

David,
I'll take a bag of bushings if there is one left and set of brake cans if you are making a run. Don't send just yet ... will wait to see what else you come up with ... thanks!

Do you have any steering sector shafts sitting around? the mid section that runs from the column shaft to the steering rack?? The old rack i had used a round coupling on both ends and the new MGB steering rack that i received from you all a few weeks ago has a D shaft. I suppose i could just replace the end coupling, but they both feel worn and are pretty loose. Considering the other parts that were on the car, its probably best just to replace the whole thing.
Also, any scratched, mildly dented fuel tanks or sidepipes?
Thanks for bringing Christmas early. Ill have the car on the road a lot sooner thanks to your generosity!!!

Happy to help. Frankly, we are not even 1/2 way through. I keep finding things. I am not sure what you mean by "round coupling?" Do you mean the steering u-joint? When you say round do you mean the round 48 spline? We can send you a 48 spline to "D" conversion u-joints.
I'll look for a gas tank and more side pipes. Did you see the post on all the bends? You could use those to finish up your head tubes. Then all you will need is a merge collector you can weld to the muffler.

Dont worry about it David! -I am just going to UPS the rest of the steering system to you to have it inspected. Its not really something i want to mess around with.. It's not worth the risk to save a few bucks. it will be on the way tomorrow.
I thought the other 427FE head tubes were more or less complete and just needed to be welded and or fit then welded. Am i wrong? Maybe i should just buy new headers already made. Will these fit the pipes that you make or will i need to order pipes elsewhere?
Thanks
Chris

Probably best with the steering system to just send it back so we can make something work for you. Otherwise you may spend a lot of time scratching your head.
The head tubes are complete...for an original type exhaust. We haven't make those in quite some time. I should have been clearer in my description. Don't worry a bit. If you don't want them, or don't want to do all the work to put them together just send them back. No big deal. We'll find something that will work and get you on the road.
David
