Default Kirkham SALE!!! Scratch and Dent Clean Up Do It Yourself

Guys,

We are cleaning out the attic. We have come across a bunch of parts we found in the clean up. On this thread I will post a list of the parts. Many of the parts are obsolete (for us, at least--they are perfectly good for other cars). Some of the parts are scratch and dent. Some were intended for other cars (like the billet chassis car) and we never used them.

Get ready to save $$$!

David

None of those...yet. We are still working on that project in our spare time. We just haven't had too much spare time lately.

Control arms (front and rear), front uprights, Jag differential mounting brackets- but they would have to fit an original style (Cobra Restorers) chassis. I'm not sure the new Kirkham pieces fit the original frames? If they did, is the geometry the same?

Also, gas tank support straps. Any luck?

Bob

I will look for the parts.

Our frame geometry is identical to an original car.

SOLD! I think we only have one set of these in the scratch and dent department. The $100 is for a set of 3--with the lids. We use Wilwood lids. The original lids dent very quickly and don't really seal the cans very well--so we gave up on them.

I found a few of our original style wiring harnesses that we used to use on our first cars. We have 3 of them. They were made in Poland and so the wiring colors are not the same as those used on original harnesses. Also, the ends are the spade type, not the original Lucas bullet type. We used to sell these for $1000. We will let these go at $200 each. The harness includes the main harness (pictured on right) and the dash harness (pictured on left).

All sales are first come first serve.

One of the 427 harnesses sold today, 26 Nov 2010. There are now two left. The only 289 harness sold today as well.

David

Radiator surge tank. This is a reproduction of the original tank. As you can see, it leaks. They are not easy to solder up. The tank is made from brass, the bracket is made from steel, and the thermostat fitting on bottom is made from stainless. You have to use silver solder to solder the thermostat fitting to the brass tube. This tank is $400 retail. We will sell this tank for $90.

PRICE REDUCED...$50

SOLD

This is a foam FE engine block with heads. When we bought this, the heads were separate. The long block (block with heads) retails for $450

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PYP-3035/

These are incredibly useful for building up a chassis to make sure everything fits without having to deal with a very heavy engine.

From the pictures below, you can see the block has been used and parts have been broken and re-glued over the past couple of years. The block still works fine for fitting, however.

Will sell for $175

David,

If you find a "cobra in a box" crated "kit" laying around from the original offering, I'm first on the list

Hey David,

How about a carrier for the Jag third member that provides the "ears" for mounting?

I appreciate the efforts to check...
