Thanks Bob! Those fuel feeds are really quite nice. They solve a big problem we had for years. The original style fuel logs are made of steel and bolted to the intake manifold. They suck heat off the manifold and contribute to vapor locking. We finally eliminated all of our vapor locking problems by running a bypassing fuel regulator.

Rob,
That shipping price for a dash floored me. The Post Office won't take it because it is dimensionally too large. I'll figure something out for you. Hold tight.

David,
Got the scoops today, thanks (and yes, Ken's stuff as well).
Keep in mind, if you cannot find that scratch and dent 289FIA, I may still be interested in the scratched and dented 427SC in the background of the attached picture

Dana 44 gears.
I can sell a ring and pinion for $155, depending upon gear ratio. Some are quite a bit more than other. The Auburn case here is a case for 3.73 and lower (as in a lower number, not a "higher," or steeper, gear). A 4:10 gear will not work with this Auburn. You'd have to get a different differential unit (not case).
The cover is also for a Dana 44 case. You can get them for almost nothing at a junkyard. They are on all sorts of Jeeps.
David
|
David,
I'll take the differential. I have a Dana 44 set of ring and pinion gears with pinion shaft for 3:54 set up. I'll call later to glean some info on the machining required and fitmet specs- or a sheet of the specs in the box would be helpful. Looks like I may need another box for this piece......
Thanks,
Bob

could I have a pair of these in my box ---I would prefer #8 but these are just tooo pretty to miss out on
Craig
These are fuel feeds for a carburetor. We tried every manufacturer of them to see what would work with an original Turkey Pan. None of them did...so, we made our own. These are brand new off the lathe.
The inlet is dash 6
Until we run out.
Retail $15 each
Today $15 both

Kirkham Sale
David, I'll take the 427 upright post #965 along with the stainless stellings air cleaner, lower 427 rear arms, and the Polish motor mounts. If you and Tom decide in the spirit of Christmas to accept my offer for the 427 body and frame I could drive up and pick everything up between Christmas and New Years. That would make one hell of a Christmas present to myself! I'll give you guys a call next week. Phil

Hey David, Anything you could do on that shipping would be greatly appreciated, at that price it's probably not worth it. (unless there's a set of side pipes in the box too ) very interested to hear what the new project is...there's no real hurry on the dash i'm changing gauges and dash set up to more original and the gauges havn't arrived yet. Enjoy the kids piano recital and thanks for all your help.....

OK guys, this is the end of the sale. Everything that hasn't sold yet is up on the block.
I'll keep lowering the price until it all goes (except the frame and body, as we have sold a few since we put it up).

I found 2 more of our old, original style wiring harnesses that we used to use on our first cars. They were made in Poland and so the wiring colors are not the same as those used on original harnesses. Also, the ends are the spade type, not the original Lucas bullet type. The harness includes the main harness (pictured on right) and the dash harness (pictured on left).
All sales are first come first serve.
Only 2 left

This is a foam FE engine block with heads. When we bought this, the heads were separate. The long block (block with heads) retails for $450
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PYP-3035/
These are incredibly useful for building up a chassis to make sure everything fits without having to deal with a very heavy engine.
From the pictures below, you can see the block has been used and parts have been broken and re-glued over the past couple of years. The block still works fine for fitting, however.
