Video: Kirkham Motorsports University machines billet 427 FE engine block

Here is a new YouTube video from Kirkham Motorsports University in which they show us how they machine a solid 386-pound block of aluminum into a 427 FE engine block.

can we assume you recycle the chips?, so the question, is aluminum aluminum, do you just mix all " scrap" together or recycle seperately?

Kirkham Capability

I for one wish all that talent and capability were focused on doing a modern FE head and intake system that would fit under the hood of a Cobra. The block is not the problem, that archaic head design could really use some help that you guys could provide. How about a CNC'd head that flowed around 475-500 cfm
and a matching cast manifold that did not capture the push rods. You could get Cris to design the chamber, port and valve locations or just copy the LS design and increase it's proportions. Can you say 1000 HP normally aspirated!
