Your car looks terrific.
I had a similar issue with the speedo in my Kirkham, although mine registered 180 whilst stationary (and clocked up miles). The is a little purple loop of wire sticking out the back of the speedo and I was advised by KMS to cut it, which I did and it has been perfect ever since. :3DSMILE: Paul |

I'm new to this pedal discussion.... Has anyone expressed this concern over pedal position before? Does anyone else have similar prob?

I positioned my seat to the right when I had my Superformance, Olthoff had a kit that I used, plus I raked the seat back a few degrees, made a world of difference...

Had not heard from you for a while...and kept intending to follow up on progress. Took a little arm-twisting to get us credit for the "used" EZ-EFI as a trade up for the xFI package. We really tried to tune this thing on the chassis dyno and the EZ-EFI simply would not let us grab the tune-up it needed at that RPM level. It needs to dwell at a given RPM and load for the self learning function and for some reason it never would stabilize enough to get the job done. I was pretty confident that the xFI system would work just fine since it lets you manually manipulate all the variables without the system needing to "learn". If you see a dead lean area that's causing crazy manners you just go in there and throw fuel at it until it stabilizes & tune from there. Great job! |

Great build thread, I will be doing the same soon with a CXS build. I am also using a cross ram EFI manifold. We will not be using a distributor due to clearance issues, we will use a cam sync sensor. Reading this thread makes me happy I decided on a megasquirt. We are building a CSX aluminum block 4.250 bore 482CI motor. This thread was very helpful, THANK YOU.
