David, I think that you are #1 at what you presently do. By entering the political arena it will be impossible to do both Cobra mfg and running the state of Utah. Ergo one side of your passion must wavier which seems to be KMS. Personally I think you would be better served to do what you do best and keep KMS #1 and even better down the road. In my opinion, politics are for half-wits that have no other talents... Don't take that in the wrong way as i have the utmost respect for the KMS team.
Whatever your decision, we wish you the best.

Plenty of extremely smart, talented people in politics, problem is, the majority of them have not used their intelligence to figure out a way to not become a politician...
Hopefully, our friend David will be the first.

I think that David is more suited to be an Executive rather than a legislator.

There is still $5000.00 available for me to match anyone dollar for dollar to David’s run for governor. I spent the weekend in Utah for the Open Track Day and can report that his Campaign is in full swing.
Check out this video… Darren

Well, since the post above yours says "...his Campaign is in full swing." as of last weekend, I would say YES.

Good luck Dave, I hope you do well. We need a person in the State House that's not afraid to tackle issues. I'm tired of paying my share of taxes and half of others because they are too lazy to work. In addition, I hope you can take on the Fed's with all of their regulations so America can start building things again. I'm tired of being considered stupid until proven intelligent. Sadly, this is how the Fed's operate.

David
I personally ran in three elections and understand the work that you have done to reach the pre selection stage. Well done on both yours and your campaign committee efforts in reaching this stage.
One thing that is certain is that there will be more elections and opportunities to run again. In the interim consolidate with your committee and keep the framework for future elections. The first run is always the hardest to put together and gain support and financial assistance in.
An unsuccessful campaign is one that was never run.
Take care.
