Lightbulb Now a tire pressure ??

Hi again,

Ok I have the billboards all sorted now with the paint touched up.

They look great. Now for one last question.

What pressures are you guys running in the billboards.

With the light weight of the Cobra, I was thinking that normal pressures may not be required and a less pressure setting would be better.

Any thoughts on pressures. - front and rear..

24 lbs on both ends seems to work well for me, Bernie

I ran mine at 28-30 per recommendations from Krause when I bought them.

Thanks. Yes mine are at 28 lbs. Thought I might drop them as that pressure was for the tire but a far heavier car.

Will trial and get back. I have a very good high quality gauge - a Christmas gift - so will muck around.

Thanks again I know I am at the right start point.

Great yes I will drop to 26 then. I am just on 210lbs. Then drop to your 24 lb recommendation. The Cobra is well under weight with the Shelby aluminum block.

Thanks again.

Hi all

Just dropped them to 25 front and 26 rear. I am not sure if I am imagining it, but they appear far better and a softer ride.

It was a 3lb drop at both the front and the rear as the tire gauge I have is accurate and indicated 28lb front and 29 lb rear prior.

Will monitor from here. 25 front and 26 rear now.

Thanks again. Aim far more comfortable when I see the different pressures being run. I have a set of Avons and will drop them as well to 25 front and 26 rear. Again they were set by the tire shop at 30lb..
