Kirkham Summit 2004 17 Jan 04
Fellow Car Nuts:
I am pleased to announce the Kirkham Summit 2004.
17 Jan 04 at our place here in Provo, Utah. That's Martin Luther King weekend for those who need to plan in advance.
We are 40 minutes south of the Salt Lake airport. We will have LOTS of fun to shake off the winter blues.
We will have:
Guest speakers!!! (All about the fun stuff of our industry.)
(Not all of them have gotten back yet to us, but SOME really cool ones have.) Will announce shortly.
Dent removal demo. Jamo offered his car as a "demonstrator."
Engine builds...where to spend your money and where not to spend your money.
Painters. Guys who really know what they are talking about who can help you to get your dream machine painted.
Lots of GREAT FOOD!
Kirkham Motorsports history lesson. (Given by your's truly...I promise it will be really funny.)
Kirkham 427
Kirkham 289
Kirkham Hybrid
Kirkham stainless chassis models
Kirkham upgrades lesson, original vs. billet (Given by Thomas).
Kirkham new models...sorry, you must wait for the announcement.
SAFETY
and lots more.
This will be a very informal gathering of friends to talk about what we love to talk about the most.
All are welcome. Future customers, past customers, people who never want to be our customers...you can all come. We look forward to seeing you.
Please RSVP so we know how much food to bring. If you have an appetite like my brothers, please put a 2X by your name!
David
oh yes...there will be a drawing...

I'd love to darken the doorway.Home Builders show starts on the 19th in Vegas. Lemme see if I can a get supplier to spring for an early ticket, and I'll be most of the way there.

SFCJ, why do you need to go to a homebuilders show? You still learning? I recommend the Sanding Convention in your case!! Vegas and Provo are not that far apart. Plus TURK will give you shortcut directions from Provo to Vegas. You have no excuse not to be there.

I will be there January 12 or 13 (I need some quality alone time with you guys), but I don't think that I will be able to stay through the weekend. Bummer.

Jamo,
The current plan is a Dutch Oven lunch. I have some friends who have won many dutch oven cook offs. Boy oh boy I am getting hungry just writing about it.

Tom
Dutch Oven? That'll work!
David
It occurs to me that since you drove my Cobra to the top of Squaws Peak and had me yelling to the folks of Provo from up above, it would be only fair for me to drive yours on the same route and see if I can make you utter some choice words as you look over the 2,000 foot non-guard railed cliff!

I hope the Dutch Ovens are large with this crowd. Can we make Jamo go to the back of the line when lunch is served?

Bob
Maybe I'll pick you up on the way. We can fold down the third seat in the Expedition and open the lift gate...ought to be enough room. Wife might not understand a Gurney dent in the roof.

Mr. Bruce,
You will have to pick up your new Hybrid anyway. Cheap fleabag hotels abound here in cheap Utah. I'll be sure to find one close by.

Jamo,
I prefer a car trailer with a bench seat. Just don't spit out the window.

Well Bob, you're in luck! It just so happens that we'll be pulling a trailor with U2's beautiful Cobra back to the nest for a few adjustments while he's screwing around in Korea. No bench seats, but you can ride in it all the way. I'm sure Jeff won't mind a little extra dimples in the footwell.
