The heck with the flow...that just plain looks good. Wonder if it comes without the badge. Price?

Default Sorry from the delay....

Let me go back and look, but it wasn't cheap. I think with a new K&N filter it was north of $200. I think you can get it without the Cobra logo as it's just a "button" type logo that appears to be expoxed on. As I recall he had some other options for logos as well.

This worked for me....

I carefully cut and removed the 9" extreme filter element from the steel enclosure (took a while).

Next I used the bottom of a H&S 8" air cleaner for the top cover and placed the extreme on top of that and ran the bolt down through the K&N to hold it tight.

Works good.

Jeffrey,

Thanks for the "heads up." I've reached the station in life where I'm looking for a solution to the air cleaner problem. Those might be just the ticket.

Anyone know off the top of their heads how big I can go without cutting the opening in my Kirkham (single holley 4150 on performer rpm intake/heads)? I guess Summit was offering 12 and 15 inch versions, and I'd go with the bigger one if I could.

While you guys are discussing this, do you think am I going to encounter clearence problems with this configuration? Any of you guys tried this cleaner housing size with a big block? I have this engine dialed in with this setup (filter) and I sure don't want to have to restrict breathing/performance by having to put a smaller air filter on.
