Default Intake Options with KMP?

To All,

What type of hood clearance is there on a KMP with an FE for various intakes?

Obviously a more agressive engine is going to lean towards a more agressive intake. I am wondering what the options are.

Has anyone tried a sheetmetal intake and fuel injection? Obviously this would not look original -- but I am wondering if it would allow for more power and a better air cleaner?

Thoughts/Ideas are appreciated,

This is what I can tell you. I have the Blue Thunder 2x4 and as long as I use the regular Stellings and Hellings, I'm fine (clearance-wise). If I want to use K&N filters in them, I going to need to lengthen the scoop hole considerably. It's not a problem, just another customization.

We have not had a problem with fuel injection, dual 4's, or just about anything. The only thing we have ever run into that won't fit is a dual 4 high riser intake. Even the dual 4 tunnel port fits with no problem After saying all of that, we really only recommend the single 4 carb set up as it is the easiest to get running correctly.
