Default ABS brakes?

We have been working with a company that makes retrofit-able ABS breaking systems for racecars. The system is user programmable and has data logging provisions. The hydraulic control unit is from a BMW M3.

It looks like the system will cost about $13K.

Any interest?

Do you get a car thrown in for that price? Seriously, it's super expensive but I'll bet you'd sell half a dozen a year for those that want the latest technology available...especially on high-end cars like yours which represent the state of the art...and for the "wow" factor.

Actually, I'd bet you'd sell more than that. ABS could help keep the car stable under heavy braking. May make track days more fun.

What I don't understand is why more Cobras don't have the Racelogic Traction control. For $1500, it would save a lot of people some harrowing experiences.

Do they also have a stability control?

Thanks for the tip on Racelogic.

I seldom cruise the Kirkham forum Tom and have never posted here, you and I have discussed guns back when you were looking for a piano in other forum areas.

As a Contemporary owner and future Kirkham owner I only hope the anti-lock and stability control DOES NOT catch on and become more than optional. I can't avoid it in my everyday life but it would be a 100% deal killer to my next Cobra purchase and not because of the price tag.
