For aluminum cars only.
How do you keep these f&*%ing things looking streak free? I have wiped this car down so many times that I am loosing my fingerprints and I am still leaving streaks. I know everyone says to use windex but I still get streaks. I have tried acetone but that is even worse.  When I see pictures of other KMP cars, they don't look like they have streaks. Maybe I need a better camera.

I never clean mine so I don't notice the streaks. 
The only other ways are to paint it or polish it.

At the shows I use a solution that I made up.It is a teaspoon of corn startch and a quart of warm water,distilled,[to dissolve the corn] and let it cool then put into a spray bottle.then just spray on and wipe down.Stan

I just use windex brand without the ammonia and do it inside away from the sun and heat.
So far, one year, it seems to work well.

Don't know what you're using to wipe the windex off with, but you might consider newspaper. A black and white copy not one that has color pictures or ink. Makes a huge difference when cleaning my mirrors and windshield. Try it....

Brent, I just shoot some Windex on a paper towel and wipe with the grain of the car as much as I can. When the rag gets dirty, I switch to a clean one. That is about it. I have heard some guys use WD40. I might give that a try if I can't get it figuired out.

Being a new owner, I have wiped the car down twice with Windex (original "blue") and a white cotton towel............no streaks at all. I have also re-polished the original stripes and cleaned with the same.....no streaks.
Didn't do anythinhg special......just sprayed on and wiped off with a "clean" white cotton towel.

A good washing with soap and water will get rid of any left over residue. We have found that the residue will smear until it is cleaned off.
I would be very scared of using WD40 if you have any plans on painting the car in the future.
