Lightbulb Anyone have this color combo?

As I was getting my usual dose of cobra for the day I thought of a killer color combo. Its for an aluminum body (brushed)... I was thinking of what kirkham does with the polished stripes, but instead paint the stripes gardsman blue or superformance blue. Its really the opposite of the usual blue and white/silver.
just my tastes I love the orig look of blue and white/silver, but grow tired of seeing so many this mixes it up a bit if you have the alum body lol anyone ever see this combo im going out of my mind looking thanks alot ! ~ Rob

BTW I was talking to a few cobra owners at a car show and we were dicussing paint and road wear. I said thats one of the reasons I would love an alum body cobra (Brushed) He sad "No Alum gets so many dents and dings...its really diffucult to take care of." is this true does the alum get dings from stones and pebbles on the road I know alum is a light on the soft side metal but i dont think its that bad... is this just a guy who wants to feel better about having a glass body? Regardless I think alum rocks thanks guys !

I've seen an original car which has stars all over the paint from just that...Stones. One way to help this is not to run track tires but you will still get stars & chips unless you do something inside to cure it. This is this Awsome original car which is driven & enjoyed(Just the way I like em). The paint is well worn & shows many spider cracks in the rear fenders. I spoke to the owner briefly up at La Canada one weekend. He bought the car a while back & has driven it the way it is since he purchased it. I was really excited to see an original car which wasn't a princess car. Enjoy them for what they were built for..

I have seen aluminum with yellow & black stripes. Looks really nice!

I recently purchased KMP297......bought it used with 4,800 miles.......no dents or dings anywhere. From what I hear from other owners, aluminum is very easy to fix if you know what you are doing.

Don't worry about it, they are awesome cars!!!! Can't wait to put more miles on mine.

p.s. I just put on some "Big Letter" Goodyears which pick up every stone on the road (I can hear them) and have not seen any dents from them.

Hope this helps,

p.s. your painted stripes on the brushed body sounds neat......worst case senerio is you have them removed.

My Hoosiers are the same. My car is obviously Glass but there is a huge difference between my street tires, Falkens, which pick up almost nothing to the Hoosiers which almost sound like a wire feed welder on a dirty street.
