That's right! It will be the same ole satin finish. I am out of the mood already. I just put on my racing windscreen and I am working on my FIA brake ducts tomorrow. Smaller, more managable projects.

Dean ~ I also thought about polishing mine, they look great in pictures. For me, I wanted to see in person and up close what the finished product looked like. Plus I wanted to see one after the car had been driven for awhile just to see how the finish held up.
Knowing how picky I am in regards to the finish of the car plus from what I have read from people who have polished their cars.........I think I will stick with my brushed finish. I think the brushed finish will tend to hide any imperfectons/scratches where the polished finish will tend to show more of them.
Just my thoughts from the cheap seats.

A question for you guys that have a polished body. How do you drive it with the sun shinning down on it ? I have a aluminum insert in my dash that is just a matte finish, and at times, the sun burns my eyes, can only imagine the whole car ? Sure looks great though.

It isn't a problem at all.....although I suspect that a brushed finish may be worse than a mirror polished finish....
The only problem I had was from the area ahead of the shift lever (I didn't have any carpeting either) reflecting up onto the windshield.

dlampe....I would guess about 20 hours throughout the week.. the car was already well sanded. 1500 wet. When I went back to satin finish I left stripes polished on, scotchbrite only dulled the finish so I scratched the surface with 600 sandpaper, then scotchbrite again. I prepped this time with 2 passes of 1500 wet. I don't think it's as nice as it was the first time but I'm very happy with it..........Ron

Can I help?
Dean
Can I get the ZoopSeal franchise in So. IL before you start?
Still trying to get a weekend to get over to meet you. The info you provided on our phone call was invaluable.
I have an appointment with Mike Arps Monday evening.
I kind of understand your statement "catch me before"
