Question Gauge of battery cable?

I'm contimplating my kill switch. Anybody know the gauge of the Kirkham battery cable?

And yes, it's 1:15 am...F1, Baby!

Well, at 5:51 am...on Easter no less, I would ask how far does it have to go?

#2 is okay.

Personally I like the silicon jacketed welding cable, it delivers.

Trularin,

Welding cable, eh?

It doesn't have be very long, less than 4 feet total, probably even less than 3. But I'd like the instal to look factory, and want to match the cable to what is already there as closesly as possible.

Rsimoes,

Interesting, you have one of the newer K-cars with the single battery in the trunk. Mine has the dualies behind the passenger seat. It's hard to judge cable size from a pic, but I know mine measure almost exactly one half inch outside diameter.

I think I may be too anal, as you'd only be able to see about 6 inches of it. I suppose that I ought to just give the Kirkhams a call.
