Talking Cat out of the Kirkham Bag! Daytona Coupe!!

OK, somebody from the other thread will have to help me out by posting a picture of the fantastic aluminum-bodied DAYTONA COUPE in the Kirkham garage.

Tom and Dave, I realize you may not have wanted to come forward with this at this moment, but several pictures are already out there, and word is going to spread like a California wild fire.

Do either of you care to post any details on this project?

Does anyone out there have additional info / photos that could be added to this thread? Post away!!

Needles to say, I now have another item to add to my "I've just won the lottery, how am I gonna spend it?" list.

Oh, so that's what he meant, when he said the cat was out of the bag.

Cause you know it's different when a Cobra charmer let's the snake out of the bag, or is it a basket? Do you have one of those Cobra charmer flutes as well?

Is there pricing yet? Options? More to polish there than a Cobra, so I would guess that the polish option will be more than $14K.

Hey Scott, I see your next build, it's becoming clearer and clearer. Boy, that Coupe sure is gorgeous. Are you booking a flight to UT?

I bet there are a lot of people out there a) looking at their bank accounts, b) checking their home equity lines of credit and c) preparing tonight's dinner for their significant other right about now.

This is the most exciting development I've seen in a long time and I'm surprised this thread isn't growing as fast as the latest news flash out of SAI.

I'm assuming this is the prototype that is to be digitized for production? I wonder which coupe it is based on?

Amazing craftsmanship. Absolutely outstanding...

Yeah, well you know that thread was started out of a SAI leak of information prior to the intended release date, while this thread started as, um, well, ...

Thumbs up

Maurice,

You bet it would!

So lets see, Kirkham FIA with lemans roof and original leaf spring suspension, Kirkham Daytona Coupe, SPF GT40 Mark 1, RCR 917K (even though I'm too tall to actually sit in it), Stohr WF1, '73 911 RSR, '66 Mustang GT350 fastback, and....oh, yes, Jaguar XK Lightweight by Kirkham. That about completes this year's Christmas list.

Dang! It looks just like my "Honey Do List"... long, getting longer, and unlikely likely to ever be completed.
