O'Rourke's are great headers and sidepipes (1,500). I assume you need both. New from Kirkham they must be about 1,500. A great buy at anything less than 1,200.

Here are pictures of the new side pipes from Kirkham Motorsports
Mild steel - close to original look with better quality components
Mild steel collector - note how the four pipes come together as a cone instead of just blocking off with a flat plate
Stainless - longer collectors for better flow and lightweight re-buildable mufflers
Polished stainless - oooh shiny!

Joe,
What holds the headers and side pipes together? The ones I have have a couple of bolts, but the newer style doesn't appear to have them.

Not fishy...the auction was pulled due to a phony bidder screwing it up.

Paul,
The new pipes have bolts and tabs on the bottom two tubes.

OK, so I gues that means I will have to cut the top one off the header pipe?
Do you know is the existing bottom one lines up with the new one on the collector?

Have the new Kirkham side pipes been dyno'ed to see what kind of performance boost they give. Obviously the newest ones don't look original, so I was wondering what might be given up by sticking with the original look.
I assume the Kirkham mild steel pipes with their fancy collector are still better than standard pipes (whatever that might mean).

You do have good feedback I checked. I have seen peoples accounts hacked into. I thought if ebay cancelled it that that was what happened. Good luck with your sale. I think I'm going with th ss headers
